CD pocket replacement

Hey guys, i have a 2000 GT that i have recently replaced the factory head unit with an aftermarket one. The intall went smoothly but now i am having trouble finding something to go into the empty hole where the slave cd player was. I plan on getting a nos kit in the future so i would like to get a flat plate that i could mount some guages in. Does anyone know where i can get one of these?

Re: CD pocket replacement

I just pulled the pocket out of my V6 to put it into my GT actually. I plan on making a plate to put into there with some gauges in it.

Haha that's hilarious. I'd honestly just have someone make you one. Stop by any of your local stereo shops and should be able to do it. I worked at a shop for 5 years and made custom plates and panels like that over 200 times. It shouldn't be expensive or a long process

Yea but still all you need is a panel made to hold gauge or switches which is easy

Sound of speed is way to expensive. I know a local shop would make that plate for 1/4 of that price. I don't need any engraving I know what it will be lol
