Sewing machine

So I just changed my cams and now my valvetrain sounds like a sewing machine and I didn't know if that was normal or what I did wrong or what not. They are comp custom grinds and some new comp valve springs to allow more lift. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It seems mechanically sound except for a needed tune. But I haven't driven it yet just fired it up and pulled it back into the garage

Did you pull the lash adjusters out? If so did you make sure to line the oil port back up where it needs to be?

Well im not sure how loud it is. After my cam install my valve train isnt as quiet as stock either. I figured it to be the springs being heavier and the valves and springs moving a bigger distance

Yea that's what I figured too. It doesn't sound bad necessarily but just annoying I guess. It might quite with some aluminum covers and the hood actually on though
