Exhaust opinions wanted

I have an 03 Mach and I am thinking on an Slp loudmouth cutback with a o/r H. Dont want an x pipe cause they sound too raspy. I know it's a good setup but I'm open to ideas so lemme hear em.

Any h pipe and catback will do. Thanks.

Go to American Muscle.com and you can hear many different exhaust systems compared to what the stock sounds like, hope this helps

The loud mouths are pretty raspy. My neighbor has them an they drive me nuts. If you want a real nice deep sound go with MAC for sure. And if you are willing to spend the extra few bucks, get a MAC prochamber instead of an h pipe

Flowmasters are a all around good deep sound but lots of people I know and myself have had fitment problems with them. I went all MAC on my 02 GT and I love it. I have the cat back 3.5" tips and o/r H-pipe.

Here is a sound clip from YouTube :

Flows are ok. That I what I currently have. But MAC is a better choice for sure. Quality wise and sounds wise

FlowMasters are great until they start to fall apart on you!.. I had them on my '96 Monte-Carlo Z34 and it sounded like a nice thraoghty V8 until they came apart on me!!... Then it started to sound like a Fart Can on Steroids!!!... Hahahahahahaha

You might have a slightly different set up than the other guy... A buddy of mine has SLP with an O/R H pipe and his really is not raspy at all either... It's just mostly loud!.. Lol. I know X pipes will some times cause a system to sound raspy!..

You're right. Just remembered this Guy that lives near me. Well his Mach has an o/r x with slp lm1 and it's so loud and sounds like a tin can. Where I have just slp cat back and it sounds beautiful.
