Possibly, but the bottom end will not take it.

Hence the reason they have two different bottom ends. One forged one not.

Five rows down, it's the only engine in the row. It has blue valve covers.. They sell different motors for different builds. Consider buying a prepped motor V. Trying to build one.

Re: Terminator converson

you can even put the M112 supercharger on a GT, but for all the hard work... I would put a better blower than just the M112 Eaton on your car... its fine and all but not that great.

Look for a used 03/04 cobra motor in good shape (checks out good) and just drop it in if you are looking for something like that, the motor is different than the previous 4v engines in many ways, and has higher compression so the 8psi will net more hp so you would be above 390hp (flywheel)

even the 03/04 cobras are more than 390

A stock bottom end gt will take 390. But it is alot of work to get the heads and supercharger on a gt. You should just spend your money on a gt supercharger and make more power then a cobra. It's easier and cheaper. But if your looking in the range of 450-500 I'd start looking at forged internals but anything up to that you'll be ok as long as you take care of it and don't beat on it
