Is it Worth it

I'm thinking of trying to get the Mach 1000 system for my GT but, don't know if it's worth $200 like I'm seeing on eBay. I wouldn't really know how to hook it up or wire it but I've heard the sound that they put out and it's really nice.

Re: Is it Worth it

Aftermarket will ALWAYS be better than a stock system.... but the Mach 1000 is no slouch in the sound dept.... if you have the speakers to back it up.

Re: Is it Worth it

it would be a good upgrade from what you have...however upgrading beyond that point is 100% better.

The mach 1000 is a great setup. 200 dollars is cheap what all is that including. I've seen the mach 1000 equipment for a lot more than that on ebay?

Im sure Shaker 1000 might be a solid system when you compare it to the other options that come with the Mustang, but if you look at it from an aftermarket standpoint..its substandard.if you have no imtentions of upgrading go for it..just lnow that there are other options out there.
Example:minimums
6x9s
component mids and highs
4 channel amp
Yellow top optima battery
Head unit
Dynomat
Reinforce spare tire cover

Thats why i wouldnt because i know their are better options, and you'll be more pleased.

It includes everything but the wiring harness. So I guess the wiring goes for $100-$150.

I don't want to go aftermarket because I don't want to go too extreme and the Mach 1000 is about as far as I will go with a sound system. Plus it will help hearing my radio over the exhaust lol!

10 speakers? No the amp unit and the two subs. If you have the Mach 460 you have the speakers and to make it the Mach 1000 after that u just need the amps and subs
