Nice car. Not to be a jerk but i have nearly the same car except an 04 with 63k miles vortech that is aftercooled and all the same mods as you except the hood plus i have corbeau seats and several other things. I have it listed for 15000 right now and the only bites i get are around 10k and two at 12 that never came through. Hard times man you would be better off keeping it if you arent willin to take a huge loss. Just letting you know my experience with a very similar subject

Yea I know times are hard right now. A lot of cars around here going for that kinda price around here tho, and not nearly as clean as mine. Show winner, and wins at the strip also.

No offense but I really don't see you selling your car for that much. As sick of a Stang as it is aftermarket parts have zero profit and do absolutely nothing for value unless you find the right person. I could see you selling it for 12 easily but not much more then that. That's the one major problem I have with doing all the work to it. You never see that money back. EVER

71k is very good milage for a 01 but with a car like a mustang people ALWAYS think the car has been raced and rodded it's whole life and it deters people BAD

Well if people try and low ball me not gona do it. Not in any hurry to sell it and I know what the car is worth. 12 grand for say a stock mustang, and I know aftermarket parts don't mean jack but I know what my car is worth to me, and thats my price.

Nice looking car. But have to agree with every one. That is high. WHen people go to look at buying a car. Less you have a car nut that likes mods they(mods) do nothing but lower the value.

Not to mention you can find 05-09's in the same price range. Some them have blowers.

I would not say that mods lower the value. People arw willin to pay more for modded cars as long as they are done properly. You wont get what you have into them back out of them but by no way does it make them worth less. However on the flip side it can be appealing to the right person and you might be able to get very close to what you have into the car if you didnt over spend by a lot. I have been buyins selling and building mustangs for years so i have quite a bit of experience in the subject.

Re: Thinking about selling

Of course a CL buyer isnt gonna take the time to look at it with that price so I would take it to some shows, the track or try a place like carsonline.com. I would leave the price the way it is,you could have someone come along and just grab it,besides you always list higher than what you want.

BTW.....great lookin ride!

Thanks man, it is in awesome shape, all original paint except the hood and trunk. I think I can get that out of it, or maybe alittle less to the right person that knows what is actually done to the car.

Yea you are right about the price of the 05-09s, you can find them cheaper cause they don't hold there value as good as my body style.

Re: Thinking about selling

good looking ride. Clean. But i would hold onto it if i were you. Its the wrong time of year and the wrong economy to try and sell a mustang right now. It might be worth 14 Market value in a green economy but its a red economy right now and its starting to age a bit. I just picked up my 03 Mach 1 for a steal. Like rob a bank and a quickie mart in the same minute steal... Its a good market for buyers and a bad market for sellers. HEY my ****ing economics degree is useful for something after all!!!!
