Clutch kits

HEy guys finally doing my clutch soon and lookin on a.m. The kits are reasonable but are they worth it? Because i have heard you should get only ford parts. Any info would be greatly aprriciated

I got a McCleod in mine. Check out stage3motorsports.com it was really cheap + free shipping.

Should i get a flywheel or will the clutch kit be ok? And the mustang is a stock dd.

Usually the flywheel is a part you wait and see if it can be resurfaced before deciding to replace, especially on a stock type clutch replacement. If you were putting in a high performance replacement, or if you found a package deal, or if it couldn't be surfaced is when it's typical to replace it. Just be ready for the phone call saying it needs to be replaced as it's possible.
