Re: Slp loudmouth or borla?

depends on if your just running the mufflers or a cat back or anything else.... Personally I think borla catbacks or just the muffler are pretty tame. I do have borla side exhaust with an or x and it sounds perfect. I had a 99 GT with slp1 cat back, it sounded pretty mean too.

So, I'd say if you want to stay stock and not deal with emissions go with the slp1's.

Personal experience and preference.

Re: Slp loudmouth or borla?

Not sure about your motor ,but I have Borla catback with X pipe (3'') and it sounds great.Kinda loud when you get in it.Borla is top notch for stangs but bit pricey side.

Highly agree with this. Still I'd prefer Borla, unless if you really like the SLP sound. I do, BUT I know most people don't. SLP is all about the loud. I love that but I don't necessarily think most people do after a while. Borlas and an O/R x pipe sound amazing. I recommend that.

Re: Slp loudmouth or borla?

Actually just thought of something: SLP Loudmouth 1 OR 2?? 2s are still pretty damn loud, but comparable to Borla's.

Is there any reason to call him a ******? It is possible to let him know without being degrading.

+1. this forum is to help not to be degrading. Anyhow I have a Mac catback and I'm getting a o/r x pipe soon and I'm pumped. Sounds nasty.

He never said he had cats in the first place, ******. Right or wrong don't be a jerkoff to other people for no reason. Bet you don't like being insulted either...

Anyway, I'm keeping my O/R H on my 97 GT and going to throw Loudmouth 1s on there just for fun lol. I'll be obnoxious as hell but it's going to be awesome nonetheless.

My personal opinion is that the slps arent that great thats just me though. I had them on my 03 gt with a offroad xpipe and it sounded like crap. My cobra had longtubes with offroad x and 40series and sounded mean.

Yup huge difference my car is much more louder without the cats! With the cats it was more of a deep tone I guess you can say with without cats it's a whole new animal lol I have a video clip of my exhaust on the forums if you want to look for it
