I dont think so..I think the surface of the 4V is shaped different from the surface of the 2V. But Im just takin a guess too lol
I think if you could just swap to Cobra heads, everyone would be doing that and getting 4v heads from junk yards.

I stand corrected, you can do it, but from what Ive read. Its alot cheaper to buy a 4V engine and drop it in. Rite?

Re: Best Cylinder Heads For 2002 GT

It's still no different than converting any built 2V. It's going to be a nightmare.

If you think your going to make 700rwhp with stock heads and cams, your out of your mind also. Maybe with 32-35psi..........

you dont know what you are talking about do you lmao....

what do you need a fuel management system for? and you make no sense saying its 4v ready lol...all 2v are 4v ready just throw some heads and timing cover and you have a 4v hahahaha...

do you mean you need a fuel system? because you dont need a stand alone system like a fast or big stuff because you can make 1200+ with stock computer and ignition system haha

the whole powertrain is 4v ready to make over 1000rwhp I need a ECU wiring harness and timing cover cause I still have the 2 valve computer that and bigger injectors plus I didn't know u could make 1200hp on a stock 2 valve computer I would of figured it would of been to much load on the computer

What do you mean stock or cobra? I thought all 4V engines were the same accept for the intake and stuff on top. Kinda like a 2V 4.6 in a Mustang is the same as a 2V 4.6 engine in an F-150 accept for the intakes and all the stuff on top, but the blocks are pretty much identical, I would assume all 4V's are the same on the bottom end, I dont think cobras come forged?
What do you mean? Lol

Just depends if u doing the build fast or over time I got a 5.4 out of a wrecked f150 for 100 it's only got 42,000. Figured if I could find heads/cams at a good price then timing cover the. U get the point. I could PROBABLY build a stock supercharged 5.4 for under a grand. If u took maybe a year piecing it together

Damn dude, that would have saved me some serious $. Ive spent roughly $3k and now Ive gotta pull that head cuz of the damn head gasket leak. And I just took it back stock besides the .20 over pistons. But it was a complete overhaul.
