Starting ptoblems, help!

Every time that I start my 02 mustang gt it shuts back off followed by a back fired or an explosion by the exhaust. I already replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter thinking it had no pressure, I replaced the cam sensor, spark plugs, and lastly the air filter. It sometimes starts fine, and the problem does it even when it is cold or hot. I dont know what else to do. I really need some help! Maybe this has happened to someone before and can help me out. Thanks

Have you triedcleaning ur throttle body? Or your MAF sensor. Also clean the IAC valve.

You also have a crank sensor as well.

Re: Starting ptoblems, help!

spend 50 bucks, have it professionally diagnosed, then fix it yourself. call me lazy but with years of fixing things right way the first time I am not afraid to say that these new cars with all of the computerized emissions hell you have to root threw stumps even me. now I just pay a few bucks and go strait to the source. give me an old all mechanical mustang and Im great, but the over complicated computer and sensor systems of today really give me headaches.

Can't u take it to a high performance mustang shop? They'll know exactly what to do since they most likely have come across similar situations. There are plenty down here
