12" light bar above rear view mirror, Help?

I have an 04 GT. It has a light bar attached to the windshield. It is about a foot long and lights roll through it 24/7. It is above the rear view mirror. Everyone calls me night rider. I have no idea what it is and neither does about 200 places I've researched it with. Any Ideas??

It's probably just a cosmetic touch the previous owner installed. Those were popular about 6,7 years ago. The wires Likely disappear into the headliner and splice into your map light or dome light.

I'd cut it off and mount a radar detector there. Nice and concealed. :]

I already have one of those. I have this mental issue about not letting people pass me.
