Tire question; Sorry.

I know there are countless threads on tire sizes, but I need one a little more specific to me.

I'm about to spend a lot of money on dropping my car and am anticipating a 2" drop. Also, I will be getting new tires soon after the drop.

Currently I have 295/35/18 on the back and 245/40/18 on the front.
I assume the front tires will still stay flush and look good with that size.
295/35/18 seems like it would sit flush as well, but what about 305s? Can I fit 305s on a 2" drop without rolling the fenders and not experience rubbing?

Also, I don't want to get Nitto 555rs or anything like that, but I do want a radial that hooks and has good wet-weather traction, as it constantly rains down here in LA. Any suggestions that fall into those size ranges?

I have Saleen 18x9f/18x10r. I have 265-35-18 nitto 555 front and a 305-35-18 nitto 555r in the rear. My car is lowered on coilovers and I did have to roll the rear quarters so the wouldn't rub. Hope that helps.

I second that.. That looks real mean..
Looks like plenty of room in the back, you had to roll to get that kind of clearance?

Yes I had to roll the quarters. The only time they would rub is if I am on uneven pavement or pulling in a steep driveway at an angle. They don't rub at all now.
