I like the 4.6 for no other good reason other than that they have been good to me. and I like the little bit of extra revs. the 5.0 in my 91 was nice but nothing really to write home about. it actually was kinda of a fussy motor but in its defence hit had been played with hard most of its life before I got ahold of it.

Well, I'm not sure about a certain milage, I think they even come with a limited warranty when bought new, my peeps seem to do very well with them
