Keyless entry

When I bought my 99 gt the old owner didn't give me the keyless entry and the spare key chip is done, any recommendations on how to get a new key fob for keyless entry? and how to re-program the spare key?

Re: Keyless entry

I walked up to the parts counter at the Ford dealer and told them that I wanted a spare key and a fob. Someone went out to my car and got the VIN and 20 minutes later I was done and gone.

It cost about $150 total?... I don't remember the exact costs, but it was about $55 for the key, $45 for the fob, and $40 for programming plus tax. This stealership has the HIGHEST prices on parts, so it will probably be considerably cheaper somewhere else.

eBay bro! I got two new key fobs for 22 dollars and free shipping and it was super easy to program also! The spare key I got with the chip from a lock smith and it was like 60 bucks! Just letting you know

There were videos on YouTube I watched but you put the key in the ignition and turn it all the way forward without starting the car and all the way back I think 8 times and leave it facing forward and then the doors lock then push a button on the fob and then turn the key back and take it out and it should work it literally took me 2 minutes to do

This worked on my 99!
