04 gt wont start

Just got out of work and my car wont start!!!! Wat could it be, lights work. Could it be the alternator?????

If the lights are on it sounds like a starter issue

put some jumper cables on and try to crank it

Need more info. Is the starter spinning the motor over or does it just click? When turning over is the theft light blinking?

It would just click.....i dont know about the theft light i didnt pay attencion on that.

Test your battery. Would you get one loud clunk and then nothing?

you probably just need a battery, i just replaced my original battery three months ago, no warning at all, it was just dead one morning

Yes it was just a loud clunk. But i think it was the battery cause today it start normal. Do u think it was cuzz y left the heater on?

It's probably cause you're battery is crap. Get it tested, pay attention to the cold cranking amps. If the battery checks out, check all your connections to make sure they aren't corroded.
