T/B and intake

Ok... I want to upgrade my intake set up. I want to go with the eldelbrock victor Jr. with the bbk 75mm t/b. My question is , is will the bbk work with the intake I want. The reason why I want to use this set up is because bbk makes a plenum and t/b as one. I'm just not sure they'll fit. The guys at AM.com couldn't tell me.

Seems like they would, I say that because I would assume both parts should work separately with the stock TB or intake.
Surprised AM didn't know, but summit also has a good customer service too and they may know.

Yea they guy at am.com said they probably should. I don't go off probably. I need facts. I was thinking the same thing you were. It should work considering either one would work with stock intake or t/b.

Maybe try contacting one of the manufacturers for peace of mind.

Your talking about the crackle black one that's a t/b and plenum in one right. That's what I ment. I couldn't remember if it was 75mm or 78mm

If it's the Victor Jr manifold I'm thinking of then no!.. It will not work because it is made to transition your factory EFI into a Carb. intake!...

They make an efi version with bosses for fuel injectors.

Yea. I know it is. Why did you mention the carb one. That's obvious that it wouldn't work. But yea that's the one with the bbk 78 mm t/b plenum combo

I seen it. I'm on my phone and didn't scroll enough. I'd have to buy new fuel rails too and I'm assuming injectors along with comp elbow and t/b. Plus a couple comments below it says no hook up for egr valve. That's not good I live in cali and smog laws are strict. Police pop hoods all the time around here.

---------- Post added at 06:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:17 PM ----------

I don't know why there would be no egr hook up. It would run poorly at idle and cruising speeds with out it. That's when egr is used. Under high vacuum. Hmmm?

It doesnt work. Mmr makes an adapter plate so that it will. You also can only run the edelbrock fuel rails with that intake. Great intake with good numbers though
