I have a minor evap leak and when I take sharp turns, I smell a minor odor of gasoline and my service engine soon light is out, can this be the fuel neck filler needs replacing?

Jack your car up really high on one side to simulate the fuel moving toward the filler neck .then check for leaks.also watch it when you fill with gas.maybe over fill the the tank and watch it also.

I didn't jack it up but I filled it up and took sharp turns and looked in the rare view and I saw small train, after I turned, in the rare view mirror and smelled a minor smell of gas. Is it hard to replace the fuel neck filler?

not sure on your vehicle specificly but usually not.some older cars they are just a hose and hose clamps.

I was doing a little surfing and I ran into a thread on another futon that explained: a common problem is the rubber sleave that the tube slides into at the tank.it seems to dry rot out sometimes causing leaks.I think you may have to lower the tank if this is the problem.u may have to just get under there with a flashlight and pinpoint the spot.but here's a link.
