But for real, you need to figure out what you want to do with your car. I personally am not going to build mine for show or race. I just want to build a nice looking car that doesn't get stomped by cars like the SRT-4 (has not happened yet but I know it can be done). I am going to get the Stalker body kit (with the work stalker removed!!), the GTS-III hood, black chrome God Speed Omega III rims wrapped in nittos, going to smoke the stock lights, style bar, and speedo covers.

I will either do a 4v cobra swap or have a nice modular engine built by mmr, or I may buy parts up little by little to rebuild my motor and bring the power out of it. It all boils down to $ and time.

Included are some pictures of the stuff I am talking about.
who would you ruin a cobra like that!?! (pics)

I understand your only 16. I'm only 17. You just have to understand the types of cars and keep them within their own genre. You don't see a heart pounding American V8 in a Subaru. Some cars just are not meant to have certain things. Now I'm all for you throwing a cobra body kit on yours. But don't make it look like a ricer.

Eh sorry missed the meaning. I just want a different good looking car ya know!? Can't stand walkin out in the parking lot and seeing that someone parked right next to me with the same car and I have to look at the plates to figure out which is mine.

yeap. i dont want to fake mine like a cobra but the cobra has the best looking parts on it. i have a 2.5" cowl hood, cobra front (nice opening for intercooler), gt rear, gt side scoops, and cobra skirts. would be nice to have cobra mirrors but they are too expensive when i can just paint my mirrors.

Not all body kits are bad, the smaller is usually the better. I believe Saleen makes a kit that looks pretty good, and isn't ridiculous.

The only kit I have ever liked besides cobra and saleen is stalker.

Check cruzin concepts. They have some good and some bad kits. I really like the xenon kit on the yellow mustang.

Re: SICK MODS

finally people who are honest with their feelings on here...so many people on this site hide their true thoughts...and that leads to a lot of bad ideas lol. Good for everyone here....

as for the body kits...my rule of thumb...if it doesn't look like it could be factory don't waste you time...so yeah the stalker kit is ok...but the hood eh...i've seen it on a new edge in person at a show and well...it looks better in pictures.

i'd take the best frames and buy a recover kit...the cloth looks dingy and the leather looks like it's close to rubbing through...so yeah that's my opinion

If you insist on putting a body kit that's unlike any other Stang around plz for the love of god take a lesson from the best to ever do it technically this was done by a Canadian division of ford called HPA ford and was called the ft402 just look it up and strive to achieve their greatness

All these parts are available but hard to obtain I promise you you'll turn heads everywhere win shows and be well known if you can manage to duplicate that or even come close

That is nice, but seems hard to get and expensive from what I've seen...do you really think the stalker is that bad looking of a kit?

Yes,
saleen, steeda, roush, and stock body mods only on mustangs please. The FT402 kit isn't bad but the front reminds me of an import.

Problem is, I don't want my car to look like everyone else's...EVERYONE gets those same kits.

Well see. That's the thing people need to get... They get those kits because they look good, not to be unique. Honestly, if you're trying to put a body kit that nobody else has, most likely it looks like complete sh¡t and that's why nobody has it any ways. Do what looks good. Don't just do something stupid just to be unique.

Well see, I have seen the stalker kit on a lot of mustangs, and IMO I dont think it looks ricey. I just don't want look exactly like the majority out there. I love the cobra look, but I don't have a cobra, don't want people to think its a cobra, or be running down the street and see a mofo lookin just like me.

The ft402 is still technically a ford body because hpa ford is a division of ford (canadian as it may be) and Imho is the front all gts should have come with in the first place the lines are just... right.
I see no importishness about it

and why on earth ford decided the stock bumper should curve up in the middle is beyond me, without a Chin spoiler it just looks unfinished
But again these are all just my humble opinions
I don't mean to offend, just my point of view
All that being said I'm still Rockin all stock gt body with a chin spoiler and grille delete so yeah
