I'd be wary. If those tunes are for a car with different mods than what you have, you might be stuck paying Bama the difference between that used unit and a new one with tunes for life. New tunes from Bama are at least 100

The tuner is for one car. It cost money to change it over and tunes cost money for cars

Idk what mods he has done, but I plan on using the 91 tune mainly. Ill figure all that out later. Minus the bama tunes, is it worth it

Actually, to pay for a new car to get bama tunes for life, it's $150

LasOmbra is right. Its up to 150. I believe you can reuse the SCT if it's original car is reset to the factory tune, unlike say a Cobb. I recommend buying a new one with tunes for life, because you're going to want new tunes to squeeze the most from your mods down the line.

Re: 200 bucks for an SCT

AM has no shipping fees, and I think the 150 for tunes is only 3 tunes not life time.

If you do get it, make sure he has unlocked the tuner. Have him show you that it is unlocked.

I really think this is a no-brainer.. If that guys tuner has some issue he isn't going to help you, nor do you get as many tunes as you can ask for... For 30 dollars more i'd want unlimited tunes and customer support, but it looks like you made your mind up already.

I talked him down to 100 bucks, desperate times, then I had to run a part there fit work after hours they gave me a hundred dollars for it so I got it for free basically! Now I wait till Tuesday and get the bama tunes. I already put on the 91 octane factory tune runs great
