O I have my new gears here and I was needing to know. Is this something I can do in my garage or will I need help?

Unless you're knowledgeable on gear swaps... I would definitely recommend professional installation. No one will laugh at you for not doing it yourself. Not many people can get backlash correct. Escpecially if you're jumping to really steep gears like I did by going 3.27 to 4.10... Backlash was a nightmare.

I'd definitely leave it to a pro. There's a couple special tools that you will need as well

Depends on where u go maybe a few hundred bucks but it's worth it if u don't have experience doing it. The shimming and stuff is a big factor when putting in gears

Shops have different prices. You could have quotes ranging from $300 up to $700. You have to shop around.

Maybe I will watch the episode where the guys on horsepower tv did it. They made it look easy plus it only took them a half hour. Lol

I just put mine in, not to bad, took me and dad 6 hours, would have been less except for a couple small screw ups! Went to 4.10s pretty happy, nothing abnormal yet!

You can get a video on how to do it. If you don't get the backlash right your hear an annoying humming sound that like a really bad hub bearing.you'll need to get all new bearings and a shim kit with gasket. If it's your first swap I'd have it done professionally or have someone who knows show you how.
