There really is no such thing as the best oil. Its oil. That's really just a personal preference. Everybody is an expert on oil. In the end, its just oil. The key is to change the oil when recommend by the manufacture and you will be fine. But I use Super Tech Synthetic.

Not sure if you mean brand or type. Any type of synthetic is good. No matter what type or brand you use, regular oil changes will keep your motor running well.

As far as brands go, I prefer Mobil 1 mixed with Royal Purple or either one mixed with Quaker State semi-synthetic.

Yeah but its just only oil. Change it on a regular basis and the engine will last whether its Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Royal Purple, etc. Its just oil. I use Super Tech petroleum 5w30 on my one vehicle and I have 180,000 miles. Its running like a top. The oil gets changed in that car every 7,500. Its just oil

It's just personal preferences. One will do fine with Mobil 1.

Re: Best Oil?

There's different type of synthetics. Only true synthetics are mobile 1, royal purple and amsoil. Make sure you get a good filter to! I use a k&n filter and mobile 1 ep.

Re: Best Oil?

there are a thousand answers to this question. I use a full synth oil but thats me, if your motor has higher miles and is doing good... it wont really matter just keep on doing regular upkeep and good quality oil.

I agree with mostly everybody here on this issue. Just change it on time everytime and you should be fine. But I only use Motorcraft 5W20 in mine though. Its cheap and always in stock!

Also make sure whatever oil you get has the API symbol on the bottle. This just ensures that the oil has the proper detergents in it to help keep your engine clean between regular oil change intervals.
