PCV Hose

Ok I noticed today under my hood while my car was running that the PCV hose was collapsed shut. Is it suppose to do that I changed the PCV valve a year ago when i put in my new CAI. There is a bit of oil around PCV valve on the valve cover. I found the hose on 50resto.com and it looks like the hose to the pcv valve is hard plastic and mine is rubber.

My real ? is, is this ok or should i look into getting a new hose.

New hose. Anything else will just fail you might could try and just find a suitable replacement at autozone till you get a new one.

Autozone just said to cut a vacuum hose to length, but I think that's what's on there. It's just frustrating that LateModelRestoration.com charges $15 shipping for a $39 hose that weighs maybe 2oz.....DUMB!

Re: PCV Hose

Buy the one form late model restoration, it works a lot better than cutting any hose and putting it there. I replace the hose two times and then put the one from LMR and my car idles better and it is like a hard plastic so it will not collapse.

I paid 37 total for the hose and shipping.
