Need new headlights!

Well i got smoked lenses for my 99 Gt and now the lights suck..like i can see maybe 20 feet in front of my car with my brights on..so i need some suggestions on what bulbs to buy. I was thinking of the HID lights because they seem to be cheaper than LEDs, but then again, Idk. I found some nice ones on ebay but idk the difference between 5,000k and 8,000k.

Thanks for any advice.

5,000k is closer to white in color. IMO, 4300k are the whitest and brightest.

Those aren't that bad I got those for my fog lights but you'll probably won't notice a big difference other than the color difference if you really want to improve the brightes go with a better brand or a complete HID kit that will be a lot more expensive though.....I bought one for my smoked headlights as well I have the 6k and its pretty good but I have to be running on hi beams most of the time cuz the smoked lens kills most of the brightness and makes the light a blueish green color but a lot better than stock lights though...if u get the HID kit on ebay make sure u buy the proper one (bixenon) unless u just want low beams then get a regular xenon HID kit its a little cheaper.

HID kits are brighter and require power stock systems don't provide.. It probably won't help with your brightness problem at all.

HID kits are over $100 just for headlights; another $100 for fogs and high beams. That thing you're looking at is like $7..
