I've heard the Steeda x2 ball joints drop your car .5 inch when you don't use the spacers that come with it. Anybody know if it's true? Anybody have experience with them? I would love a .5 inch drop in the front.
Sweet. I'm prolly gonna get them anyway with a bump steer kit cause I get bump steer lowered on eibach pro kit.ColeJohnson said:Just installed the X2s last night and also lowered it and I'm sitting on the tire. Idk if the x2s added to the drop, but those ball joints are tough as nails and look good!!
Yeah, I installed the steeda x2s and steeda bumpsteer. Maxim motorsports c/c plates and H&R SS springs. Getting Tokico d-spec shocks struts in a few days.01mineralgreyv8 said:Sweet. I'm prolly gonna get them anyway with a bump steer kit cause I get bump steer lowered on eibach pro kit.
Just what I wanted to hear!onesickstang01 said:I got nearly 1/2 inch lower with the x2s. They did change the steering geometry enough to feel a slight difference as well
Steeda states it drops it 1/2in.lowflyn said:Uh...don't see how ball joints are going to drop your car...
Springs is what sets the distance between the ground and the fender. Other parts are there to make the factory geometry be retained for durability and longevity. Never had a ball joint lower my car...
