69 351w into a 98 v6

My dads gonna be pulling his 351w to put in a different one, would this be able to match up into my 98? I know the electronics are completely different, I'd need a 8.8 rear, bigger fuel pump, and beefed front suspension... but what else??

Nope, at least not that I have heard or seen. I could be wrong but I have never seen or heard of a t5 work. I had a torino with a 351c and only things that would work was a c6 and a c4. You can try it though. I could be wrong on that.

A t5 will work fine a 351 w and 302 w can interchange alot of parts and run the same engine mounts and trans mounts although i would recomed getting ur t5 "beefed up" or swaping it out for a t56 6 speed with viper spec gearing ull like it more and its alot stronger. The 351c and m blocks are totally diffrent and are closer to "big blocks" in size so will not work at all with out major mods to the front end of the car basiclly be better off building a race car with a crate big block rather then trying to put a 351c or m block in a mid 90s and up stang. But the 351w is a beautiful fit and there are alot more parts/stroker kits available for them u can even share some aftermarket cams like the f-303 ford racing cam and twisted wedge heads. 351w with a 427 stroker kit is whats going in my 94 so i know it works how ever an 8.8 rear end and profarmance drive shaft or a 9 in rear end and drive shaft is deffanitly recomended u will want to put in a cross member and prolly a set of good ibach suspencion and get some upgraded springs as well and because depending on how u build ur 351w it will be good for 300-1000+hp a roll cage might be a good idea for safty and to make ur unabody stronger.

Go to a trusted transmission shop that warremties there work tell them ur power goal and what u plan on doing with the car they will build up ur tranny accordingly. Sry i dont touch transmission upgrades. But yes clutch packs maybe swapping out gears for diffremt ratios etc.. They know what to do at the shop and if they dont thats y u get it warrented.
