Pull the mirrors off mask the mirror glass off. Sand the mirrors as flat as possible to get rid of the textured finish. You then will need to prime and sand a couple more times. Once they are nice and smooth you are ready for paint and clear coat.

Re: Freshly cleaned ready to ride

Honestly my mirrors have been painted for 5 years and no problems. If you take your mirrors off and bring them to a reputable body shop you will not have any problems. You will pay around 150 bucks to have the set painted

Thanks
I have bilstein/UPR coilovers up front with 175lb 14in springs, offset rack bushings and Steeda blue light weight sways. The rear has Steeda blue sport springs with UPR upper and Lower control arms and Tokico Ilumina 5 way adjustables. The front has zero rubbing. The rear used to rub due to the 305-35-18 drag radial on the rear. I rolled the quarter panels. The rears do not rub at all. If you were to run a 285 on the rear you would not need to roll the quarters.
