the best method would be to have the car scanned and it will tell you what cylinder is missing. then you got to determine if its the cop or plug. to do so move the missing cylinder cop to another cylinder and re scan if the miss follows to that cylinder the cop is bad if the original cylinder is still missing that tells you that the problem is the plug.

If you don't have scanner run the car. With it running at idle unplug 1 COP at a time. If it runs rougher that COP is good. If the idle does NOT change the COP is BAD!

Hello folks,

Got a 97 GT convertible here. Building it with time and $, and lots of TLC. Got a down stream o2 sensor bad read from the ECU. Changed sensor but doubt fault will go away probably due to increased flow from BBK exhaust, CAT, & flow-M mufflers. Guru say after market tuning needed. Question is how long can I wait till do the tune? BTW I have a set of BBK Shorties to add...

Any advice welcome.

Forgot 1 thing, problem started after BBK mod. Also, the fault was read via scanner.
Thanks.
