Check wiring, there is a broken wire somewhere. Brake out the multimeter and a wiring diagram, it could literally b anywhere.

Isn't there a relay for that as well as a fuse?

Re: Turn signals and breaklights not working

Multifunction switch had to be replaced when mine acted similar. The fuses are next to the relay (big, yellow one). Fuse schematic printed on inside.

Yes it can. I wouldn't be surprized at all if that fixed the problem. If u have a second car, u should test the components for proper operation before buying a new one. Throwing money at new parts and hoping it works isn't frugal. I know you don't mean to. See, I hear about these things all the time, where someone has a problem with their car and they just keep replacing parts and a few thousand dollars later they give up and sell the car.

Re: Turn signals and breaklights not working

If you reach down, under the steering column, dead center, up and underneath you will feel a bracket with a yellow square turn signal relay. Next to that is some more fuses.

He said the third brake light works, so the stop switch works fine.
