See and im the oppeset. Leave the cobras and bosses and shelbys alone there worth more as therobreeds not enough of them to be f***ing up with mods. Mod the gts cause there tons of them and youll actually up the value of the car mod a cobra and ur downing the value. I know this is all imo stuff and everyone has there own thought on it but if hystory proves any thing watch the barrett jackson auctions of mustangs of yester yr the pure cobras and shelbys un molested fetch way more then modded ones but gts go down in price unless hot rodded right.

Dont let the ignorance of a few get u down. Imo ppl are crazy for modding the top line cars. They just ruin them. Only mustangs u can mod that u dont ruin are the base models (v6ers and gts)

---------- Post added at 12:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:38 AM ----------

And it also comes down to $$ cobras and what not usually have forged internals so they can handle boost and stuff better then gts but to me thats just being lazy about it fact is if ur going to be punching up ur motor ur prolly gunna stroke it out anyway which means a new rotating assembly so starting with say a cobra is kinda pointless unless ur planing on keeping stock displacment and even then why bother a cobra is all ready BA for a dd and if well kept will allways fetch good coin stock.

I wasn't trying to make anyone mad lol. But it's my car and my money and I ca whatever th hell I wanna do. I'm not defacing either brand ford or chevy. I'm not the type of guy that picks a side I love both chevy and ford they both have good stuff. If u take good stuff from ford and the good stuff from chevy you will have bes of both. I already have a 03 cobra 10th anniversary and a 2001 roush stage 2 both beautiful cars and I'm not messing with those. And yes I am gonna buy a g8 with a ls3 in it already. And so what if you think my gt will only be worth 500 as a junk car I really could care less I dnt care if it's worth 2 buck to you. All that matters is I like it and I'm happy about it. 

I lost to my first ls1 the other night but its a buddies 11 sec 01, other than that my mild bolt on GT hasn't lost to an la
Ls based motor yet, I beat a mild bolt on ls1 the other day, he claims to run a 12.46 in the 1320. I don't buy that a bolt on GT can't hang with a Ls1

Its funny this debate about chevy small blocks vs ford as far as im concerned 350ci shouldnt be racing 289ci or 5.7vs 4.6 its rediculas if u want more ci go 351 ive seen 351w or 5.8l eat 5.7l all day long its kinda sad really the only way chevy stands a chance is if they have a full liter advantage in ci i just wish ford would bring the old 5.8l into this centry like they did the 5.0 then ud see something truelly worth ur envy.

Open your mind to everything. I respect everything fast. You could strap a rocket engine to turd and run 4 secs and I'd respect it but it's still a turd, doesn't mean you have to like it
Hahahaha that'd be one "nasty" turd!!

The mach I just sold was same as yours (azure blue) I had a set of full length BBK headers, off road X, flow masters, JLT true cold air kit, 90 mm mass air housing and tuned by modular depot, first night at the strip stock gear and 315 Nittos, I beat an 04 vette, 01 trans am, and an I believe 06 GTO, the GTO was cammed, and drag radials and I got him, my best time was 13.00 and that was spinning thru first and very bad in second, these machs will easily beat LS cars when you let them breath

Re: ls1

Well in the world of sales we all know the stangs win lol.
I have to agree though when I walk through a car show and see a small block were a flat head could/should be its kinda disappointing.
Also why not just buy an On3proformence turbo and be in the 12s they are cheap in the world of forced injection.

Ohh and my grandpa has an 05 GTO and I have drove it many times, I love both cars (need to race him some time so I can set a goal lol) and we should all be proud that American muscle is still alive and well, LETS TAKE THEM TUNER WEENIES DOWN!! lol

Ive been neglecting missy mustang a little lately she needs new head lights and a good cleaning and some boss 338 rims with fat sticky stagerd tires on her maybe a cobra r front clip and a 4in cowl hood and a s-281 spoiler.
