Re: What to do next?

Yes but if you could get up to the very last gear with 3.73s it would pry be 180 lol. Im pry going to go with 4.10s cause who needs anything over 150mph lol. Only problem with 4.10s is traction but I have an auto right now (plans for 5speed in future) but I figure I can learn how to throtle the car and it will be a beast with drag radials.

If you are gonna do gears then you need to also figure out if you just want a drag car or not. If it is then 4.10 or more if not then I would say 3.73s or around there

What about 3.90s? I'm planning on auto cross and drag but it is my daily driver. I think auto cross is set to be under 60mph so a gear were the top of 2nd is 60 would be perfect.

Well autocross can be faster than 60 but yeah 3.90s are good for autocross and they will give good pick up to In a straight line

Well that's fine for that and drag, but 4.10:1 is not for a DD and I'm tired of people trying to get other people to get that gear set in their DD. I wouldn't even use 3.90 in a DD for as much highway as I do.

The whine is actually the backlash of the gears, usually the whine comes from them being either too loose or too tight, I don't remember any more.
