Re: off road x or H pipe?

First off, whoever told you that you need backpressure in your exhaust is an idiot. Backpressure means there is a restriction in your exhaust. Either mid-pipe is good, the way it sounds is gonna be the only noticeable difference.

I have an o/r X-pipe on my car and it actually runs alot better without the cats!.. I would also suggest getting a tuner for it if you had not already done so!..

O\R x pipes are more raspy then the H pipes. Which sounds amazing IMO

Depends on ur exhaust, the hpipe will make it sound deeper which goes great with flowmasters

I think most people agree that the x flows a bit better but the difference of flow between x and h is pretty minimal. It's all depends on if you want a deeper tone or a bit more raspy of a sound. They're both just as loud as the other. The sound they make is just a bit different. Also many people like the prochamber. It has a different sound than the x and h, so that may be something you want to check out as well

They are both actually equal in their own right!.. The H is good for a bit more low end power!.. The X is better on top!...

Hey guys I am getting paid on Monday and I think I am going to buy the x pipe but should I wait to put it on, because right now my exhaust is stock. Will I have to get it tuned? Or will it be fine and just have the check engine light on?

It will be fine, but I would suggest getting a tuner as soon as you can!..
