pcv valve

Well as my Car is running There is a loud hissing sound from the pcv valve. The line and valve are new. Now Its a 2001 gt. Can i just put a breather filter on it. Where can i get one and Wat do u rec.

No, u need that. Play around with it, see if u can find exactly what is causing the hissing. Mine doesn't hiss so...I'm sure urs shouldn't.

I worked on a 04 gt and it had the filter on it

I have a oil catch can hooked up to it. But my hoses r rubber could they be colapsing. What kind of hoses Would u rec.

Oh they aren't stock? U need vacuum hoses, I believe any car parts store has it, I know NAPA does.

you can put a breather but you will be letting un-metered air into the engine~ just an FYI

Yes use a breather filter. Then were the hose connefts to the throttle body just put something in the hose to block it

or if ur throttle body has a nipple, put a plug on that. all the PCV does is direct the gasses that have escaped from your cylinders to ur crank case from entering the atmosphere without being burned.

Were Would i get one for an 01 gt. And Wat style Push in or screw in. Plus will it hurt my engine
