02 Gt convertible map lights

My map lights won't turn out so I had to pull the fuse and now have no interior lights. I know it isn't the fuse Does anyone know what problem is, whether its wiring or another issue? Im trying to avoid taking it to the dealer and paying too much.

I would think it's either the switch in it or the map light itself. I would try to find another map light at the junk yard instead of taking it to the dealer

I would check the door switch....or even the headlight switch...some people forget that if you turn that all the way to the right they come on....there is another thread on here where someone had this prob with a coup and it was the door switch that tells that the door is closed...

Most likely not your map lights, don't waste the $

This Is the problem identifier and solution if its the door switch...

Hope this helps.
