Oil questions

I recently got a 2001 gt and I plan to change the oil. My family mechanic recommended 50/50 firestone but hes never owned a mustang before so I feel you guys out there would know better. The car is turbocharged if that makes any difference. And what kind of filter should I look to get?

I have a 97 GT, brought it a long way. Anyways, are you talking diff oil? At least I hope so. 50/50 is heavy any way you use it.
Come back.
