Cool Aftermarket Stereo

I'm very new to the Mustang world and I'm willing to bet there's a thread about this I haven't seen, so if anyone knows of a good one please let me know where I can find it.

I just got an '04 Mustang GT convertible. It came with the factory 6-CD AM/FM radio. I'm thinking of getting the Sony CDX-GT55UIW so I can use/charge my IPod (or IPhone) through the stereo and detach the face when I leave the car (plus have the option for satellite radio in the future).

Does anyone know what the average price is for the original stereo if I sell it on Ebay? It's in good condition.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations about aftermarket stereos for the Mustang GT I'd love to hear about it. I'm looking at ones that are IPhone/IPod friendly, have USB ports, or are bluetooth ready. I hardly ever use CDs anymore. I'd love to get Sirius XM in the near future.

Just the head unit? Or disk changer too.. Seen working head units as low as $10-$15 at flea markets depending

Re: Aftermarket Stereo

Are there two separate units? I'm not familiar enough with it to know. If you're saying I can keep the disc changer and use it with the new stereo, that would be awesome, but I don't know if that's what you're saying...

I just assumed I'd have to take the whole thing out and put the new stereo in.

Don't know what I'm thinking.. Your discs just feed straight in the dash huh?

Re: Aftermarket Stereo

Yeah, it looks like a regular CD player but I guess it holds 6, in the dash.

I get what you're saying. No, there's no changer in the trunk or anything like that.
