Ticking Noise

My stang is making a ticking noise at about 2500 rpm. It's been doing this for 6 months and hasn't gotten any worse. It doesn't tick all the time, and is quiet when car is cold. I've been driving my car hard and haven't had any power loss. What can it possibly be? My tranny's schincronizer is going out to, can it be that?

You might want to try a valve adjustment to start with. What's your tranny doing that makes you think a synchro is going bad and no the ticking would not be a synchronizer assembly

Well 1st and second are on one synchro assembly and 3rd and 4th are on a different one so I'd be surprised if one blocking ring on each assembly is bad if I were you if check and make sure your shift linkage is adjusted properly if it's a hydraulic clutch make sure there is enough fluid and bleed the line if all is good there then you might have to dive deeper into the problem
