I got some 3.73 n my 00 gt. Its also an auto. But i love them. Just ordered a tune from brooks speed and it pulls hard at all rpm. But before with them 3.73 they will pull hard at low rpm.

Ya that definately a possibility!
Better go get one and keep it handy so u don't have to drive to the parts store on 7 cylinders like I did. My car did something similar but it was at like 30mph a week before the c.o.p. went bad.

Would a misfire code possibly come up if one of the c.o.p is going out? i have two codes right now one for no cats (obviously is because of the off road h pipe) and one for insufficient coolant temp (im gonna change the temp sensor to see if that clears the code)

It might, I didn't get a code till the COP completely failed and then I think it told me which one it was.

Does it misfire when at idle? Does it come and go? Like when you put a load on it?

Ok. My car was misfiring pretty badly a couple of weeks ago. Try going to OReillys or something like that to see if it throws a cylinder misfire code. Mine was cylinder 2. I changed the spark plug and it was an instant fix. Just a thought. I hope this helps!

Re: misfire question

when's the last time it was tuned up ?
I'd throw in some new plugs and go from there , if it still does it I'd look for a bad coil

Ok well update i changed the plugs last night and they weren't too bad and put in my mil elimintors last night aswell and the car is still misfiring real bad still under a load the new plugs cleaned up my idle but that's it but i was inspecting all the c.o.p they all seem to be in great condition still (if that even matters) but my car is running rich right now and the only code it was pulling was for the back 02 sensors so can someone give Me any light on.what could maybe be the problem

Re: misfire question

If you put the mil eliminators on, you shouldnt have a code for the o2's. Also what kind of fuel do you use? Try using a higher octane fuel or change brands of fuel and see if it goes away then.

Brand of duel won't help it run smooth but it will get rid of the o2 sensor code, shell does it for me

Well i miss spoke i had a code for no cats which the mil elimintors took care off but as of this morning i had the mil come back on for the driver front 02 sensor so i replaced it and a few hours ago my mil came back on and my brand of gas i live on a military base if that makes a difference

Ya sometimes the gas on base isn't high quality, I think it depends on what base. In pearl harbor I couldn't buy gas on base, it would throw that code. In groton, connecticut, it was hit and miss. And in bangor washington its good. So I either get gas on base or Shell.

Re: misfire question

I recently solved this issue for my 2004 Mach 1, with a little help from our local Ford dealer. The symptoms were occasional misfires at low RPM, notably around 1500 RPM, in all gears but particularly in 5th gear. (accelerating while cruising in 5th at about 55 would bring it on.) It was one of the coils going out. My car is totally stock, with the exception now of a Napa coil that was about half the price and took about 10 minutes to install. For $105, Ford was kind enough to tell me which one it was.
