oil leak from filter housing

Im sure some of yall have had this problem, its leaking from where the oil filter screws onto the block, ive got a Lincoln that has the same leak. Any help would be awesome

It's leaking from the set screw mines doin it I pulled it out n put some loc tight sealant on it n it leaks worse so don't pull it out. I've been told that you have to replace that screw to stop the leaking. I haven't yet so I don't know. Let us know how it goes

Try checking the gasket, mine is leaking from the gasket, it's called an oil filter adapter gasket, like 11 bucks at pep boys. Will need to pull the lower radiator hose so I would do a flush on the radiator when doing the gasket, just my opinion.

That's what it is. Ill get it this weekend, although I dont have a pepboys around here ill just go to the dealer! I get a nice little discount from then anyways!
