Question Use O/D at WOT?

Im wanting to put 4.10s in my GT auto and was wondering is it safe to put power on overdrive? Some charts ive seen say 110mph is when 3rd would run out so my question is can you put full power on the overdrive?

It shouldn't hurt it. All overdrive does is allow another higher gear for better mileage on the highway and less strain on the engine when cruising. However when at higher speed it just becomes another gear. However, when accelerating, keep the O/D OFF light on until you're ready to shift into 4th, just so the trans doesn't decide to do so when you're not ready.
