I would suggest listening to samples on YouTube. It's going to be your personal preference. I have always had 40s on my cars and trucks and prefer the sound of them but the 44s sound good too

I've had magnaflow mufflers, magnaflow magnapacks, and slp lm 1s... Then I got 44s and that's what I'm running now and have been for a long time.. Wouldn't trade them for anything else.. Honestly there's not hardly any difference between 40s and 44s.. However, flowmaster made a chart on their different mufflers and the 44s are newer and rank louder and more aggressive than 40s.. So I obviously recommend 44s.. Do u have an o/r midpipe?

44s. I had them on my 97 GT and they sound badass, and I personally think they're better than 40s.

Re: 40s or 44s

I have 40s and I like them a lot.

That's my car. Also have a bassani x-pipe.

Also this video:

If you like the 44s that's cool and all.. I just think they're a little too loud and kinda sounds like a truck... Lol.

Have you listened to Pypes? That's what I have. And they are just straight up nasty. I get compliments all the time. I'm gonna try to do a video and get it on here soon.

I had 40s on mine. Then i went to a full magnaflow magnapack catback w/3.5 tips and magnaflow tru x o/r xpipe it sounds great. But on the flows i like the 40s better they have more of an authentic Mustang sound. The 44s don't have that distinct Mustang sound but r louder. Am has a page where u can listen to the diff ones
