First Mustang

Just got a 2001 Bullitt gt with only 39k
It looks to be in beautiful shape both inside and out
It's a 5 speed stick and not all that easy to handle on icy Alaskan roads
But I'm not complaining this thing seems awfully fast for stock
But I can't see any obvious mod's
Will post some picks soon I really like the look of the factory mags on this model
Anyway

Want to change the oil can anyone recommend a brand of synthetic ?

Welcome. Bullitts are nice rides. Green, black or blue? As for synthetic amsoil or royal purple but I've never been able to justify the extra cost. I use castrol syntec full synthetic. Better and cheaper than mobil 1. If you really want to spend money on something get a premium filter. Amsoil is good oil for sure but its really formulated for extended oil changes. Bet you can't wait for the long days of summer!

I went 16k miles on my last round of Amsoil. When I changed it it was still pretty clean and the filter was still good, but I already bought the replacement oil and filter. Haha. Amsoil's extended interval costs around $90 shipped for 6 quarts and a extended filter. And can last 20k miles, I guess. Rated for up to 25k.

And btw... Your car is awesome
