Debating

Ok according to how my taxes come out I'm either going to just build up some little mods ( springs shocks gears ) or Vortech stage 1 supercharger. My 02 GT has 90k miles on it. Would it be able to handle that or should I not try it. Oh and also does anyone know someone who has one for sale around $2000

Personally if I had $2000, I would do the springs, gears, ect.!... Keep your car a bit more well rounded!.. As far as can your car handle some boost?.. I would say yes!.. So long as you keep it on a bit more modest side!.. A buddy of mine has a SC on his 2000 GT and has about a 100,000 miles on it!...

Yea I knw the suspension and gears would be nice and good for the stang. But I would like to have the power of the supercharger. My boss has a 2010 camaro and he leaves me at the end of second gear and my cousin has a BMW 335i TT that we stayed neck-n-neck and he started to pull away. Just like to have something little extra

That's cool, but remember with more power you need a better suspension to handle that power or you can end up really hurt with a busted up car

With some gears and suspension mods, that Camaro will have a harder time pulling on you, and that BMW might not be able to!..

Just some food for thought!..

Oh yea totally agree with you. If you look at my pictures my last car was a 01 with full suspension for drag racing. It was all n/a and ran 13.5's in the 1/4. Then I put nitrous on it and it ran a 12.788. If I didnt have the suspension it wouldnt of done that. I would get to that point eventually with suspension on this car, I just know if I don't get the supercharger on the car now it won't ever go on later most likely.

Thanks man I have a month or so to keep debating it. The BMW though, gear or no gear it will beat me all day long in the stretch, but never in take off. His BMW beats the new camaro and camaro beats me. Damn those turbos! Lol
