Thinking about yellow...

I want to kinda be different and stand out, so I been thinking about yellow rims with two small stripes on each finder like the ones they sell on AM

Idk how that'd look at all... But I think I know what you mean. Would be interesting, that's for sure.

You ever consider just painting the lip part just yellow? I personally think its a little too much for the whole rim to be yellow but if you really want to be different go for it.

Kinda like this

Worst color combo on a car ever, we saw a girl driving a sonic blue Mustang with yellow rims & stripes while on a cruise and we couldn't drive we were laughing sooo hard we had to pull over, we tried to get pics but couldn't
I almost barfed it looked so bad!

How about small hints of orange? That's blue's complementary color, yellow is the compliment for purple.

+11. On the blue and orange!.. But with the orange around the lip of the rim!..

But on the other hand it is your car so you do what you like!..

It will without a doubt 100% stand out and be different... but that does not mean it will look good

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes its just not good to be different. After all mustangs sitting on 26-28" wheels are different....I don't think I need to go into detail on how I feel about those.....

Here a really unique idea to stand out:

Plastidip your rims black, then paint the lip of the rim in glow in the dark paint, Install black wheel well lights, this will cause it to glow brighter than an average charge from the sun. Enjoyyy..!

It might sound a bit ricey, but I do custom work like that on interiors, it will work on your rims as well, its showy but subtle enough, plus its invisible/reversible when you want it to be, if you don't like it then peel it off.

Sounds intersting. Does sound ricey but I would like to see what it looks like. I'm also curious about a whole glow in the dark car.....

Glow in the dark automotive paint is available online, just look it up, super cheap and removable.

I've already begun planning a glow in the dark bike, since most LED/neon lighting is illegal over the states, they can't do anything about glow in the dark, because its reflecting a charge, not projecting its own light... muhahaha!

It looks great on the interior of cars or around exterior badging, but on edge as to whether its too ricey for American Muscle, would look BA on an import though!

I want to like that, but it just seems too much. I guess it would grow on you.

Yea me too and I also thinks its to much... But I feel like I won't ever know until I try it. I think I'll do it only if I have the money to get the rims painted twice for a quick Change hahaha

Plastidip is the blood of camaros, we cover our Mustangs in it to ready for battle..

Aha okay that was weird.. XD its synthetic rubber in a spraycan that makes life 300x easier, no chipping, extremely durable, is used on tools, if you don't like it you just peel it right off like a bad sunburn.
