battery now in trunk

I would like a fuse right at the battery. There's a lot of positive cable now running the span of the car. Does anyone know if a 175Amp fuse be large enough ??. I feel like I should have something.

Re: battery now in trunk

When I swapped the 3g alternator into my fox, it was suggested I run a 200amp fuse. I bought the fuse and holder from PA Performance. Its the same alternator so I imagine 200 should be what you need.

Whatever you do remember you want the fuse to blow before anything else does
