1999 mustang owners

How many of you guys have the headlights with the black housing? Not the smoked ones, but the oem ones that the 01-04 models come with..

Re: 1999 mustang owners

There should be no difference at all... if you are having issues when it comes to the clips in the back... push in pretty hard and have someone else apply the clips. I have heard of people having issues with the headlight mounting brackets. But other than that they will fit. Give it some love

They dot sit flush at the corners and dont go in all the way.. I might of not been pushing it all the way in or something but one side fit and the other didn't.. And I was trying to straighten it out for a while lol.. It was a nice looking almost new pair I got for cheap but sold them because they didn't fit right

Hmm maybe they weren't the stock ones he probably ordered them and might have had the same problem as you and sold them. I've read customer reviews on AM on some of the headlights not fitting right at the corners but never not fitting at all.

Yeah I'm looking to get the black housing ones.. I'll try AM first to see how that turns out.. If not I'll fork out money to the ford dealer to get originals..
