Re: Halo Headlights

I haven't had these headlights in ages. These were on it when I bought the car over a year ago, and within a month of driving I swapped them out for OE style smoked Cobra headlights and 6k HIDs.

I found a kit on stang mods for $65 that's the harness! All you need is a good set of hids and the housings, so probably like $180-$200.

Re: Halo Headlights

Got my foglights from mrbodykit.com.. however, they're big false advertisers. They claim that those fog lights come with LED's on the sides of the main bulb, but in reality they were just dim 194 bulbs that looked like complete SH**. I had to order in some 194 sized LED bulbs and then re wire them which was pretty easy, but still, it was frustrating. I wrote them a pretty nasty email. However, the projector style fogs with the matching projector headlights, the LED's and the Halo's matching.. I was very impressed with the outcome with how it all looks and i get stares all the time from people when I drive around in the evenings. I like all your headlights as well!!! Thanks for the compliment!!

How difficult is it to install? Do you basically just plug them in and replace the fasteners, or do you have to wire?

Some wiring is needed.

The ones I got were able to be plugged in straight to the harness, although I had to wire in the halos, but that's cake.

Oh yeah, the wiring was simple. Just go to a local parts store and get some t-taps. Easy.

See.. I didn't really like these ones because of the square ridges. I wanted something more in the design of the stock assembly, but with the projectors and halo's on the inside..
