o/r x or o/r h

I have SLP loudmouth 1 catback. If i went with LT's and a x pipe would that be too raspy and crap. Or should i go with prochamber h pipe?

I had an o/r x and slp lm 1 for a day before I changed it.. It sounds like total sh**. literally like a trash truck.. Do u like the sound of the slp with a catted pipe? Cause personally I think u should get LT headers and an o/r x and just do a muffler swap.. That way u get performance, it will be loud, and won't sound like a trash truck

Re: o/r x or o/r h

Everyone will say something different. Honestly x-pipes aren't as raspy as people make them out to be. I get tons of compliments from my o/r x-pipe. I love it. Might be a tad bit obnoxious with SLP brands, though.

Well I havent had slp for too long I'm not gonna muffler swap after spending $500 on cat back. You think with LT, catted x would tone it down.

The SLP lM are more about being loud and less about tone!.. Hence why they are called Loud Mouth!.. If you want more of a deeper tone then go with an H-pipe, but expect it to still be loud!.. SLP is for those that want a louder exhaust with replacing the whole thing!..

Me and a buddy of mine have the exact same setup, minus the fact that he has an O/R H-pipe, and I have a O/R X-pipe!.. Both cars sound almost the exact same, but his does have a little deeper tone to it!.. But not by much!..

If u like the sound of slp then LT and catted x pipe will keep it from beeing too raspy. I personally don't like the sound of slp so idk if u would like the sound or not.

I was suggesting that at all. Not just to blow another 500 when u have a perfectly good setup. U decide on which midpipe and headers? And what manufacture?

I've never heard them personally but I've heard good reviews on pypes exhaust. They make a pretty cheap xpipe and headers. I was gonna go with bassani or borla but i had heard magnaflow sounded just as good with the same performance increase. That's y i went with them. I already had my headers on when i gother all if that. Them headers r a ***** to get on or replace the gasket on them. Be sure its the headers u want lol

I thought about doing pypes but I've heard they were ****ty, that they were made from cheap metal and you get what you pay for being cheap.

I dunno about any other cheaper stuff. And everything else is close to the same price. Might as well go with spl then. U can't find any stuff much cheaper. Its all bout the same. Maybe 50 bucks cheaper but nothing really much cheaper than spl

I've got Pypes O/R X-pipe on my car now for about 3years!.. Its a DD, so I've driven it through the snow, and salt and everything else in-between!.. I've had zero problems with them!..
