COnvertible Top.

Im having trouble with my convertible top when i try to put it down i have to give it a little push so it can go and when i try putting it back up i have to help it up a little, it wont lift up by itself i have to pull it up and after a lil while it moves by itself. You can hear the motor running and you can tell it kinda wants to go but its like if it doesnt have enough power to push it up or something. Can someone help? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Awe **** that's what happened to mine when I first got my car stupid *** dealer tried to rip me lol. But nonetheless they replaced the hydraulic motor and it works like a charm. You can get it for like 100$

Re: COnvertible Top.

you may have a fluid leak or the motor is bad. Take the backseat out (easy) and investigate the stuff to see if the rams have a leak or if the motor is just going bad.

How do i know if the motor is bad? Kus if it has a leak there should be some wet spots around there right?

Re: COnvertible Top.

I'm having the same issue. My top goes very very slow now both up and down and makes a little drill/screw like noise. I'll check it out also, but would like to know what your overall final census is.
