Only lowering the front?

I was thinking about lowering but I really like the low front and higher rear look, does anyone sell just the front ones? I only want a inch or less lower due to the car being a DD.

Im just thinking, I dont have the money now but I want to see some opions.

That wouldn't lower the car either...

I would check out Ford C Springs. They dont have a huge drop. Only like 1.25 in the front and 1 or less in the rear. You can get a set of those for under 200 and all you would need is the CC plates (which are recommended no matter what really)

Drop spindles!!!!
You can get a set of drop spindles just for the front end of your car which will lower it 2 inches in the front and have absolutely no effect whatsoever on your factory steering geometry or ride quality
If I had it to do all over again I would have gone this route in the first place
They are rather expensive at around 600$ for the front pair but you don't have to replace struts springs cc plates or ball joints so really not a bad route to go
And they are much lighter than the stock ones
Just food for thought

U might b able to use you're stock suspension and get a set of air shocks for the back. U put air in the shock and it will lift the back of the car up I don't know if any company makes these shocks for a mustang u gotta check it out. Good luck!

Ok thanks for the advice everyone, I think I going to leave it as is for now and just get some more power before I worry about this.

Re: Only lowering the front?

it will look odd of the rake is much more than .5-1.0 inches~ but its your choice. You can cut a bit from the stock springs if you want

Buy the steeda x2 ball joints. They will lower the front 1/2 inch.

Re: Only lowering the front?

i've seen a stang around my area thats dropped I'd say around 2 inches in the front and stock height in the back.. IMO it looks absolutely horrible. I do like the front being lower than the back, but it has to be a very moderate change to still look ok.

Re: Only lowering the front?

Yeah you want a slight rake if any when you lower.

Just lowering the front and leaving the rear at stock height will look bad imo.

As said, staggered wheels and rolling fenders are improvements, but won't change ride height...lowering springs or cutting stock springs are the best way.

You can lower the car slightly (1-1.25") without spending a ton of money..and it really improves the looks of the car.

I think that's what I will end up with. I need new wheels first, mine right now are pitting.

I still say drop spindles would be the best route cause you don't alter your ride quality or steering geometry at all but install would be tough cause removing our spindles is not a fun process
