DOOOOO ITTT!!!!!!

Just do a serch and tons of gear posts will come up! With an 02 Automatic do gears and a tuner and it will be a completely different beast!!! Alot of people I know with Auto's run a 3.73 gear and use an SCT hand held tuner.. model 3015. COmes with canned tunes and you can adjust for multiple parameters like gears, shift points, tire size....ETC ETC

Gears are probably one of the best "bolt ons" you can do to your car.

With the addition of steeper gears, you'll notice much better acceleration, better holeshot and slightly higher mpg's in the city, with a slight loss in highway mpgs, ~.5-1.5

General saying is 3.73's for manuals, and 4.10's for autos. But you can certainly use 3.73's or 3.55's in an auto if you want a lesser ratio.

As said a tuner is needed to adjust for the gear change. I'd recommend a custom tuner so you can update your tunes as you mod more.

Professional installation is recommended since the gear install requires detailed measurements and shimming. Improper installs can lead to whining or worse, grinding.
